Tonight, Hubby Jim served Walhydra one of his exquisite gourmet dishes, a new recipe out of the current Fall Entertaining magazine from Cook's Illustrated: farfalle pasta with sautéd shiitake and cremini mushrooms and thyme.In gratitude, Walhydra took JimJim out for fancy dessert at Biscotti's—where dessert and coffee cost the price of a meal.
As they were leaving afterwards, Jim quoted Walhydra's recent commentary:
"I've always wanted to be an Epicurean, but I can only afford to be a Cynic."
